I had the opportunity to embark on a journey throughout Atlantic Canada earlier in 2017, and as a filmmaker, I seized the opportunity to document my experiences through video. My goal was to create a short film that would evoke the same sense of relaxation and serenity that the trip had provided me, while also preserving the chronological narrative of the journey. This project marked my initial foray into what is now often referred to as “aesthetic content,” and it served as a valuable learning experience that has informed the development of my subsequent “vignette” series.
