In 2014, I created “Spilt Coffee” as a short film to coincide with my departure from the digital advertising industry. It was also the last animated short that I produced entirely within the Adobe Animate ecosystem, as I subsequently transitioned to a combination of Adobe Animate and After Effects for future projects.

Despite technical and scripting limitations, this project was met with positive reception and has become one of my most widely-viewed and relatable creations to date. I recognize upon revisiting the project, it remains an impactful and memorable work for me despite its cynicism and dark tone.
