In 2017, I was honored to have the opportunity to work with a class of students under the age of 5 from Point Pleasant Park Childcare Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The project, an animated short film titled “The Monster,” was written and conceptualized by the students. The animation was completed in Australia, in The Northern Rivers. It was gratifying to see the final product, a collaborative effort between the students and myself, be recognized and selected for screening at the Yamba Film Festival. This experience was both meaningful and rewarding for me, as it allowed me to work with young students and contribute to their creative development.
