UNE - Oorala Awards 2024
November 29th marked the University of New England's Oorala Awards.
The annual Oorala Awards celebrate some of UNE’s most outstanding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, along with the exemplary staff who support them.
At a celebration dinner in Armidale on Friday night, awards were presented to staff and students across 12 different categories, acknowledging their remarkable achievements.
I had an amazing time, met many new friendly faces, and reconnected with a few familiar ones. It was a brilliant event celebrating some of the region's best and brightest people.
