From the moment I arrived in Armidale for the New England Garden Festival I was wound up into a vortex of gardens, plants, people and their stories.

It’s not every day that a celebrity like Costa Georgiadis visits town, but thanks to the New England Garden Festival, that’s exactly what happened. Beyond exploring the festival itself, Costa was invited to tour the gardens of Armidale’s Waldorf School.

Visitors From Dreams was on hand to capture the occasion on video, while photography was provided by frequent collaborator Peacock Photography.

Costa explored Woody’s Garden, engaging with students and sharing his wisdom. He then visited the High School Ag Plot, where he met members of the Ezidi community, who share this space thanks to the generosity of Armidale Rotary.

It was a memorable visit and a testament to the power of gardening and sustainability in bringing people together.
