Fly Away Home - Production Blog 1
Work is well and truly underway for this years animated Christmas film for projection in Fitzroy Street Tamworth through December. I am thrilled to have been invited back again to tell another story.
Last years effort City of Light was a very traditional style Christmas tale, something that won't be the case with this years film Fly Away Home which leans heavily on Australian Christmas culture
As always production time is short, so for the character builds (the images found in this post) to be able to be animated as efficiently as possible there is a tonne of reuse.
That said, I can't say I don't mind the challenge of making as many characters as possible out of as few unique elements as I can.
