Stu Cupid approached Visitors From Dreams early in 2024 regarding the creation of a music video/visualiser for the single "Departure to Copacabana (ft. Rhiannon Moushall)" from their at-the-time upcoming album Daisy Shopping.

While the music video was originally planned to be animated, the track’s summer vibes made a fully live-action music video feel more fitting. I have always considered the 1972 sports documentary Morning of the Earth one of my largest influences. Given that the film itself plays out like a feature-length surf music video, this project was the perfect opportunity to pay homage to that inspiration.

"Departure to Copacabana" was filmed at Lennox Head over the span of a single morning.
